3. Load Dispersion

③-1. Load dispersion on the contact surface

Despite the fact that general gears absorb whole force and torque on the surface of a single tooth, the load of the FTS is dispersed onto the surface of several teeth as ‘Spline shaft’.

③-2. Wide contact surface

The load on the teeth of the FTS is dispersed onto the wide surface avoiding concentrated load on the contact surface, enhancing its durability due to the greatly reduced chance of wear out since both corresponding teeth shares the same center of radius and have almost  the same length of the circular arc which nearly fits into each other.

③-3. Movement of the contact surface

The load on the FTS is dispersed in a timely manner into the space since contact points of each corresponding teeth reciprocate within a certain distance on its surface as the FTS revolves.
