1. Application Outline

Q1. What are the applications of FTS?

A1. As FTS is a shaft transmitting torque, and most of all machines in the world are operated by the rotating torque, it can be used to most of all machines.

Q2. However, without FTS, all machines have been operated with no particular problems or inconveniences until now.

A2. Yes, however, various types of flexible couplings have been used to almost all machines for the connection of driving power to driven load, and the special device of universal joint and constant velocity joins are used to all vehicles and many industrial machineries in wide range to connect the shaft in bent condition.

Those devices have very complicated structure and limited performance with large size, and inconveniences with high manufacturing cost.

If these devices will be substituted by FTS, there may be many advantages in manufacturing from the simple and effective FTS mechanism instead of using the former complicated devices.

Q3. Do you have any records of applications?

A3. Yes, but as FTS is just born, we have no many records of applications. We have only one application to the progressive cavity pump, which is our companies main product. As the rotor of PC pump has eccentric motion, the PC pumps have two universal joint inside the casing to connect the drive shaft and the rotor in bent condition. We have substituted these universal joint to FTS and improved drastically the performance and save the manufacturing cost of our pumps.

We expect that the flexible coupling and universal joint will be substituted by FTS in all industrial fields.

Q4.What is the new applications besides the replacement of existing FC and UJ?

A4. FTS will make it possible to plays the driver and the driven load freely not necessarily in the same straight line. This will create unlimited new applications.

Though we imagined the versatile new applications in future (refer to the future of FTS), our imaginative ability would be much poorer than actually that to be attained in the future. We convince that new infinite wonderful world of FTS will be opened. Many of those who look at our FTS at exhibitions etc., told us their hope to adopt FTS to their job related items. For example, a business man who make valve told us his idea to make a valve operated in a distance apart on ground beneath highly located valves. Besides, those who make tools, vehicles, medical instrument, new wiper systems, and many other various machines, express their ideas and hope to adopt FTS to their machines with their magical and pleasant  feelings from FTS. We believe that FTS will bring so new many applications exceeding  the limit of our imagination capability. We prepare a column (the application examples) to register the examples of FTS application and expect many examples to be recorded there besides the only one example of present PC pump application.

Q5. What shall I do to adopt FTS to my present business now?
